My Nevada lettuce has now come up.
Even as small as it is, it's been hoed one time.
My spinach also has come up.
And nicely hoed.
Peas.
Hoed. This is how I keep my garden weed free all year long. Hoe hoe hoe!!!

Amy's Cabbage
My granddaughter is in the "Bonnie's 3rd Grade Cabbage Program".
You can read about it here: http://www.bonnieplants.com/CabbageProgram/GrowingtheBonnieMegaCabbage/tabid/82/Default.aspx
I was assigned the task of growing THE cabbage. A Bonnie Mega-Cabbage (OS Cross). I planted it on Saturday with a cutworm collar.
Then I covered it with a chicken wire cage to keep the birds away.
Another cage for deer. I only have one plant. The hardest job so far was taking pictures in a 25 MPH wind.
