Time to dig my sweet potatoes.
The vines are removed and set aside.
Start digging. There's a couple of nice ones.
Done.
Here are some of the bigger ones. One weighed 3 lbs 6 oz. A total 65 lbs from 12 plants

How do you decide when to dig? How will you store them? I planted 3 slips this year for the first time. I live sweet potatoes. Yours sure look good.

Kitty in Utah... I dig them the day before first frost. I store them in the garage and then the basement. Don't let them freeze.

Hi Leigha From Georgia. How did you get your soil ready for your sweet potato plants. Ive tried growing them a few years now and i only get little tiny ones. And never many. Ive even tried growing them in containers with loose soil. We have red clay soil here? Is there any other substance i could use to grow? Like straw or hay?
