Old and New Spinach

This old spinach was planted late last fall and was over wintered. We have been using it for about a month but it is going to be history by tomorrow. Eight broccoli to the left and two little cabbage under the bird cages

This spinach was planted this spring and will be ready for harvest tomorrow. Nevada lettuce in the foreground and brussels sprouts to the left.

  1. I should try the fall planted spinach this year.
I will have to start with new seed; I got zero germination this year!

I will harvest my first broccoli today. We will be having new potatoes and wilted lettuce (Asian Red) with a few green onions. I may just skip the meat.
