The brussels sprouts have been picked twice during the summer but the main crop is harvested in the fall. A couple of good frosts improve the flavor.
Here is a closer look.
Even closer. And no weeds.
The finished product. And with a little luck with the weather I may get a few more.
Larry, I have never seen Brussels sprouts growing! I had no idea.
ReplyDeleteI only cooked them one time and didn't like them at all....maybe I didn't cook them correctly.
Garden is looking beautiful as always.

Wow, I love brussel sprouts and those look great. I have tried to grow them a couple times but had no luck. My soil just isn't good enough yet. You do inspire me to try again next year though!
ReplyDeleteWonderful. I wish mine had grown like that.
ReplyDeleteThose are looking exceptionally tall this year. Am I correct, or does it just seem that way in the photos?
ReplyDeleteGayle... Must be the photos.
