Weed free garlic

I planted the garlic on Oct. 29, 2009 which is about two weeks late in my area due to a very wet fall. Not a single one came up in the fall, but all 52 of them came up this spring. The soil is now dry enough to hoe and will be ready for the big snow this weekend.

  1. All my fall planted garlic is up and I wish I had planted more! I just have a few cloves left from last year.

Mine are coming up through lots of leaf mulch. Mulch is the only way I can keep my garden weed free!
