My garlic is now ready to dig. I wash it with a garden hose and let it dry for a couple hours in the sun. Try not to spray Eugenia's flower pots!!! Then 2 weeks to dry in the garage and ready to use.
I planted my first tomato plant in northwest Illinois in 1947 and have been gardening ever since. My house is on a 2.3 acre lot and have 3 garden plots totaling 10,000 square feet. All vegetable. No flowers. No weeds.
Looks good! What kind of garlic is it?
ReplyDeleteI don't know the variety and the guy that gave it to me does not know either.
ReplyDeleteHow do you know when it is done?
ReplyDeleteKitty. Dig it when one third of the bottom leaves dry up. It's better to dig it a little early than too late.
