Spring is coming to this part of the country right on schedule. The progress can be seen in my asparagus bed. No planting for at least two weeks.

My asparagus should be coming up shortly too.

I am fighting a loosing battle here.
gld... I hoe it early in the spring well before it comes up. After it come up, I pick it every day and pull any little tiny weeds I see. I don't see many. I planted the bed in 2003 and have never had one weed more than two inches high.
